Cowgirl lessons part II

Lets try this again!! Now that the ol' blog got a tune-up, we should be back in business for a while ;-) But then again... I make no promises!

Thanksgiving once again took us down to Riddle. The weather threatened to interfere with cowgirl lessons but dry skies prevailed! Aunt Kathy and Kristy are pro cowgirl teachers and had an entire lesson planned for the girls. First, it was riding, learning to click to make the horse start walking and then saying "Whoa!" to make the horse stop. Next was a lesson that not all cowgirl jobs are fun...its time to clean their feet ;-) Lessons wrapped up with making sure all the horses were fed for the evening.

It might be hard to tell, but the girls are REALLY EXCITED for cowgirl lessons!!

Ella LOVED Tanner. She walked right up to him by herself. Then when she would stop petting him, he would nibble at her shoulder for more =)
Ella took lessons very seriously and made sure to listen to exactly what Aunt Kathy had to say.

Kristy helping Aubrey feed Shorty an apple. Aubrey had a hard time keeping her thumb down and the apple on her hand at the same time.
Ella on the other hand needed no instruction on the feeding. She just jumped right in!
Thanks Aunt Kathy and Kristy for such a fun and special afternoon!!
