Instalife-- March edition

Its funny to me how some things stand the test of time, and even more...what those things are. Melting beads for example. I remember making many of these in various patterns and shapes. Fast forward to a few months ago when I was walking through IKEA and whatta know... melting beads! Definitely provided an afternoon of rainy day fun =)
Homemade elephant ears... or for those of you in Douglas County, fried bread! We do a monthly alphabet dinner party and for "E" it was requested that I make elephant ears. Since I had never made them before, we had to do a trial run for dessert one night. Not brag, but first time out of the pan they were pretty darn tasty!!
Nothing better than swinging with the sunshine on your back and a frozen pancake in your hand! This girl loves her frozen pancakes even more than sisters.

Grandpa Rick finally was able to come up so we could celebrate his birthday. The weather cooperated and the girls were able to play a little softball with Grandpa in the yard.

This is a screenshot of a video of Ainsley. On March 18th, all the little girls around the world screeched with glee when the movie "Frozen" was released on DVD. Ainsley kept saying. "Frozen. Its Frozen." We have watched that movie each day since March 18th and listen to the soundtrack whenever we aren't watching the movie. Some may say they are obsessed!!

Spring break in Oregon will guarantee one thing...rain!! We had one day of sunshine and took full advantage of that day. Picnic, park, swinging with friends.....check check check! Caleb and Ainsley are sometimes too cute for words =)
This smiley girl in the past week has: gone potty on the toilet, started calling me 'Mom.' and had her fingernails painted for the first time to which she promptly replied, "They are beautiful!" Time sure flies when you are having fun. Hard to believe in a month she will be 2! What happened to my baby?
